The Drive DeVilbiss Explorer is a versatile and robust mobility scooter that can easily be taken apart into five sections for transportation or storage, and the battery pack can be removed and taken indoors to charge whilst the scooter is left in the car or the shed. The Explorer has all the features that would expect from a quality transportable model, including all-round suspension, greatly adding to the smoothness of your journey. However, it has a top speed of only 4 mph, small tyres that are best for travel on smooth roads only, and a ground clearance of only 1.6 inches. Additionally, the heaviest piece of the scooter weighs 55 pounds, which may be difficult for some users to lift, and the scooter has a max incline rating of 6 degrees.
