The Brooks Lincoln Stairlift is a classic straight model. Brooks discontinued it in 2005, and it later evolved into the Brooks 130. However, reconditioned units still turn up, and they suit straight staircases with users up to 127 kg (20 stone).

Brooks also offered choice on these models. For example, you could set the seat height, pick the upholstery and add accessories.

Considerations

As an older model, the Lincoln covers the essentials but lacks some advanced features of newer lifts.

Its seating options and designs are also more limited than current models. As a result, a reconditioned Brooks 130 may give you more choice.

Other Models to Consider

For a straight staircase like the Brooks Lincoln Straight fits, a few other lifts are worth comparing. The Acorn 130 T700 Straight is a close match on size and capacity and the Bespoke Synergy Straight folds slimmer at 295mm for tighter stairs, while the Companion 950 Straight folds slimmer at 285mm for tighter stairs.
